KNOW YOUR CONTROLS
A. Grinder status: Flashes WHITE while grinding. RED indicates an error (see pg. 25).
B. Grind volume dial: Used to slightly adjust the volume during automatic dosing.
C. Power status: Flashes WHITE during preheating and stays solidly lit in standby mode.
RED indicates an error.
D. Power switch: Used to turn the espresso machine on or o and start preheating.
E. Pressure gauge: Shows how much pressure is being applied during the extraction process.
F. 1-cup/single shot status: Lights up WHITE when ready and ashes during the extraction
process. RED indicates an error.
G. 1-cup/single shot selector: Used to start/stop extracting a single espresso shot or set
a custom shot volume.
H. Descaling reminder: Lights up WHITE when the unit needs descaling and ashes during
the descaling process.
I. 2-cup/double shot status: Lights up WHITE when ready and ashes during the extraction
process. RED indicates an error.
J. 2-cup/double shot selector: Used to start/stop extracting a double espresso shot or set
a custom shot volume.
K. Water status: Lights up solid WHITE when ready and ashes while dispensing steam/hot
water. RED indicates an error.
L. Maintenance status: Lights up solid WHITE when ready and ashes when a maintenance
function is in use.
M. Maintenance selector: Used to cool down machine after steaming, return shot volumes
to default, and start/stop descaling function.
N. Steam/hot water dial: Used to dispense steam or hot water.
O. Steam selector: Turn dial to to dispense steam from the steam wand.
P. Hot water selector: Turn dial to to dispense hot water from the hot water outlet.
