4. Adjust the position of the cover and lower the head of your device.

5. Insert the power plug into the AC outlet and set the speed adjustment
knob to the desired position, 1 to 6, for extended use.
6. When finished, turn the switch to "OFF".
7. Raise the head of the device using the arm release button.
8. You can now remove the mixing bowl from the base of the unit by
turning it counterclockwise.
