Problems
The wick is damp or damaged.
Water mixed with paraffin.
The wick is too high/low or uneven.
The adjustment knob is too tight.

Engage the bit holder using the adjustment knob.
Turn the adjustment knob fully clockwise and raise
the wick.
Do not overtighten.
Cut off any uneven parts of the wick with a pair of
scissors.
Place the wick cover on the burner.
Make sure that the distance between the wick
cover and the wick guide is the same.
Otherwise it will be difficult to move the wick
vertically.
Test the appliance before use.

Allow to dry or replace the wick.
Clean the inside of the tank.
Adjust the height of the wick.
Slightly loosen the knob or replace the gasket.
