Step 5: Attach the Draw Cord and Screw-In Pole End:
Tie a knot between the shock cord and pole end.
Insert the screw-in pole end of your choice into the threaded side of
the replacement pole section and screw it in tightly.
Step 6: Thread the shock cord:
Gently thread the shock cord through all the pole sections until you
can no longer pull it any further.
Step 7: Adjust the shock cord:
Pull the shock cord through the final pole section.
If necessary, tie a knot around an object to prevent it from
retracting into the pole sections.
Pull the shock cord firmly to determine the correct length.
Tie a knot between the shock cord and a pole end once the correct
length is achieved.
Ensure the cord is short enough to hold the pole sections together
securely yet allows for easy disassembly of all pole sections without
excessive force.
Trim excess shock cord using a knife or scissors and close the end of
the shock cord using matches or a lighter.
