IRONING WITH STEAM
Caution: do not plug in the power cord yet.
1.
Grasp the water tank of the steam station by the handle and
press the release button for removing the water tank, pull
the water tank out of the steam station. Fill the reservoir with
water, being careful not to exceed the maximum level (1.8 l).
Use only tap water or 50% tap water and 50% demineralised
water in case of hard water.

Place the water tank back into the steam station.
3.
Plug in, press the on/off button.
4.
Turn the temperature dial to the desired temperature
depending on the type of fabric, the temperature indicator light
will start to illuminate.
Caution: adjust the temperature dial within the margins of the steam symbol. Otherwise,
condensation will form and water droplets will emerge from the ironing soleplate during ironing.
5.
The water will start to heat up and after a few minutes, the temperature indicator light will go out.
This indicates that the soleplate has reached the correct temperature.
6.
During heating, the ECO indicator light will flash.

Use the steam selection button to choose the amount of steam : eco or regular. The steam indicator
light of the selected amount will light up.

To iron with steam, press the steam button on the inside of the handle of the iron. Continuous steam
will come out of the soleplate. When you release the button, iron again dry, without steam.
Caution: never touch the hot iron soleplate! Never direct the steam at people!
9.
After ironing, press the on/off button for a few seconds and the appliance will switch off. All
indicator lights will now go out. Remove the plug from the wall socket. Let the appliance cool down
completely.
If you do not use the steam button or control panel buttons for 10 minutes, the appliance will
automatically switch off. This is a safeguard in case you forget to switch off the iron.
TEMPERATURE INDICATOR LIGHT
When the iron is heating up, the temperature indicator light will come on. When the set temperature is
reached, the light will turn off again. During ironing, the light will switch on and off alternately, as the iron
is kept at the correct temperature.
EMPTY WATER TANK INDICATOR
When there is too little water in the water tank, your steam station will make a rattling sound and the
steam will stop. The steam station will stop working until enough water is refilled. If you have not filled the
water tank sufficiently, the water will not be pumped to the iron.
DESCALE INDICATOR
This light will come on when the steam station needs descaling. When you have removed all the limescale,
the light will turn off again. You can read about the correct descaling process under the "Descaling"
section. Repeat this process until the light goes out. This will prolong the life of your appliance.
