In order to check proper functioning of the system, it is advisable to test the set-up first,
using a short CAT-5e/6 cable.
1.
Switch off all appliances before you start connecting.
2.
Connect the HDMI source (Blu-ray disc player, TV Decoder, Media Centre PC,
etc.) to the MegaView 65/66™ transmitter [1], using an HDMI cable (not
provided).
3.
Connect the MegaView 65/66™ receiver to the appliance shown [2] (e.g. HDTV or
projector), using an HDMI cable (not provided).
4.
Use one CAT5e/6 Ethernet cable to connect the MegaView 65/66™ transmitter to
the receiver [3].
Attention! The MegaView 65/66™ cannot be connected to an existing home network
(LAN), this may cause damage to the device.
5.
Connect the power adapter [4] to the '5VDC' connection on the MegaView
65/66™ and plug the adapter into a socket.
Attention! Do not place the MegaView 65/66™ transmitter or receiver in an enclosed
space, such as a TV cabinet or equivalent. Provide adequate ventilation to ensure that
the product is functioning properly and to protect against overheating.

Setting signal strength

The MegaView™ 66 is equipped with an automatic signal strength controller.
With the MegaView 65™, you can adjust the signal strength manually, using the
''Length'' button [8]. This function uses 12 positions. Once you pass position 12, you
automatically start again at position 1. When the function is at position 1, the LED will
turn red [9].
1.
Sequentially push the button until the LED turns red (position 1).
2.
Now, successively press the button until you have the best image display.
3.
The settings will be saved when you switch off the MegaView 65.
