Clean the Pressure Roller
A soiled pressure roller can lead to a reduced print quality and can affect the transport of material.
CAUTION!
Pressure roller can be damaged!
Do not use sharp or hard objects to clean the pressure roller.

Open the printer cover.
•
Turn the lever (A) counter clockwise to lift up the
printhead (B).
•
Remove the labels and transfer ribbon from the label
printer.
•
Remove deposits with roller cleaner and a soft cloth.
•
Turn the roller (D) manually step by step to clean the
complete roller (only possible when the printer is
switched off, as otherwise the step motor is full of power
and the roller is kept in its position).
•
Reload labels and transfer ribbon.
•
Turn the lever (A) clockwise to lock the printhead (B).
•
Close the printer cover.
