USE
1. Place the appliance on a stable surface.
2. Place the raclette cheese on the cheese holder. Turn the support arm holding the cheese so
that it is under the heating element. If you are using cheese wedge, you can tilt the cheese
holder to a 45° angle. Loosen the screw of the cheese holder, tilt the holder into position using
the handle, and secure it into place at the desired angle using the screw.
3. Adjust the height of the support arm. Loosen the support arm height adjustment screw and
then slide the support arm upwards. The optimal distance between the cheese and the heating
element is 2 to 4 cm. Tighten the screw again.
I
Make sure the distance is never less than 2 cm.
4. Turn the thermostat knob to the 'MIN' position. Plug the cord into the connector and then plug
the plug end into an electrical socket.
5. Turn the thermostat knob to the desired setting. You can adjust the melting process by turning
the knob or changing the height of the cheese using the screw on the support arm.
I
Caution: the appliance is hot.
6. Once the cheese has melted, twist the support arm outwards. You can tilt the cheese holder 45°
to scrape off a layer of melted cheese.
7. After every third or fourth scrape of the raclette, a crispy crust will form around the edges of
the cut side of the cheese. Cut this away with a serrated (raclette) knife and serve together with
the raclette.
8. The grill plate can be used for grilling potatoes, vegetables, bread, etc. You can also grill other
dishes on the cheese holder such as mini pizzas, bruschetta, stuffed portobellos, goat cheese,
and much more.
9. After use, turn the thermostat knob to the 'MIN' position and unplug the appliance. Let the
appliance cool down completely before moving or cleaning it.
