Risks and dangers
The unit has been designed to minimise the risks for the user and maintenance personnel. It is
technically impossible to completely eliminate the causes of danger, which is why it is essential to
observe the following instructions.
• Children and disabled persons are not allowed to use the appliance without assistance.
• It is forbidden to tamper with the safety or adjustment devices or to make any other changes wit-
hout the manufacturer's permission.
• It is forbidden to use the appliance as an incinerator or to use it in any way other than as it was
built.
• It is forbidden to place items of laundry or clothing on the appliance to dry; any drying racks must
be placed at a minimum distance of 2.0 metres from the appliance to avoid fire hazards.
• It is forbidden to open the appliance door during the switch-on, operation and switch-off phases.
• It is forbidden to operate the appliance if the glass of the combustion chamber is broken.
• It is forbidden to clean the glass and all hot parts while the appliance is in operation.
• It is forbidden to touch the appliance while it is in operation or when it has not yet cooled down
completely, as some parts (handle, door, glass, etc.) may cause burns. If necessary, use protective
clothing (e.g. gloves, etc.).
• It is forbidden to use other fuels to power or ignite the appliance.
• It is forbidden to bring flammable materials near the appliance (example: bags of pellets,
flammable liquids, pellets, flammable liquids, etc.).
• Children must not play with the appliance, even if it is switched off. Cleaning
and maintenance must be carried out by the user or by qualified personnel.
