10. Allow the compressor to cool.

Tip the compressor so the tank drain valve is at the bottom of the tank.
12. Turn the air tank drain valve to the open position (Fig. 5-2) and allow
moisture to drain from the tank.

Prepare a container for this step in case there is liquid discharge.
13. Store the compressor appropriately and safely.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before attempting any inspections or maintenance, ensure the
compressor has been properly bled of any remaining pressure, is turned off
and is disconnected from the power source.

Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier
to control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Inspect the tool fittings, alignment, hoses and power supply cord
periodically. Have damaged or worn components repaired or replaced
by an authorized technician. Only use identical replacement parts
when servicing.

Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
4.
Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
5.
Keep the tool clean, dry and free from oil/grease at all times.
6.
Maintain the tool' s labels and name plates. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for
replacements.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An
improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
DRAINING THE TANK
To prevent corrosion inside the tank, condensation must be drained at the
end of every operation or work day.
Draining is accomplished by relieving air pressure in the system and then
opening the drain valve at the bottom of the tank.
Be sure to wear appropriate personal protective equipment when
performing this operation.
