to prevent back drafting. Follow the heating equipment
manufacturer's guideline and safety standards such as those
published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
and the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration, and Air
Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the local code authorities.
c) When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not damage
electrical wiring and other hidden utilities.

SECTION 1 Preparing the Exhaust Fan Unpack fan from the carton and confirm that all pieces are present. In addition to the exhaust fan you should have: 1 - Grill with Glass Light Lens 1 - Damper Assembly (attached)
  • Page 3 Insert the fan’s plug into the receptacle (Figure 7). Remove light lens from grill as follows: NOTE: If the fan motor plug is AKLC70RCB: Gently twist the light lens counter clockwise to release from the grill. Wire connected to the fan housing AKLC70SLN, AKLC70SLW: Slide the glass light lens out either side of the grill.

Remove light lens from grill by following the instructions in Step 3 of SECTION 6 - Completing the Installation. Replace CAUTION: MAKE SURE POWER IS SWITCHED OFF AT SERVICE PANEL BEFORE light bulb(s) with 60 watt maximum, type A19 medium base incandescent bulb(s).
