• Keep sufficient distance from hot components
because any contact can lead to very serious
burns.
Always wear grilling gloves or oven
gloves. Use gloves as per the PPE
regulations (Heat Protection Category II, e.g.
DIN EN 407)
• Always use grilling utensils with long, heat-re-
sistant handles.
• Always remain vigilant and watch what you
are doing at all times. Do not use the product
if you are unfocused, tired, or under the influ-
ence of drugs, alcohol, or medications. Even a
moment's carelessness when using the product
can lead to serious injuries.
• Hot fat can drip out of the fire bowl during
use. Keep sufficient distance away because
otherwise you run the risk of very serious
burns.
• WARNING. Risk of carbon monoxide poison-
ing. Operate the grill outdoors only and not in
enclosed spaces!
Do not use the barbecue in a confined and /
or habitable space e.g. houses, tents, cara-
vans, motor homes, boats. Danger of carbon
monoxide poisoning fatality.
Fire hazard!
• Have a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit
ready so as to be prepared in case of an
accident or fire.
• Place the product on a secure and even
surface before use.
• Use only fuel that conforms to DIN EN 1860-2.
• WARNING! Do not use spirit or petrol for
lighting or relighting! Use only firelighters
complying to EN 1860-3!
• Ignite the fuel only in an area protected from
the wind.
• Set the product up so that it is standing at least
1m away from highly flammable materials.
• Do not leave the product unattended. Make
sure that the fuel is fully extinguished and has
cooled down before removing the ashes.

• Flammable liquids poured onto the hot coals
produce flash flames or detonations. Never
use liquid lighting fuels such as petrol or spirit.
Do not add fuel soaked in lighting fuel to the
embers.
Avoiding material damage!
• During use the screw connections can grad-
ually become loose and affect the product's
stability. Check the screws for tightness before
each use. If necessary, tighten the screws once
again to make sure they are securely tight.
• Do not sit or stand on the product.
• Do not use the product if any parts are miss-
ing, damaged, or worn.
• Do not use water to extinguish the fuel.
Assembly (figs. C-G)
Note: For assembly you need a Phillips screw-
driver and a size 8, 13mm spanner (not included
in delivery).
• Assemble the product as shown in figs. C-G.
To prevent unwanted material stresses, wait
until assembly is complete before tightening
all screws securely. When doing so, lock the
screw nuts using a suitable spanner.
Lighting the fuel
Note: Wash the grill grate (5) with warm water
and detergent before first use.
Note: Heat the product before using it for the
first time. The fuel must be heated for at least 30
minutes until red-hot.
Note: Do not put the food on the grill for cook-
ing until the fuel is covered with a layer of ash!
1. Open the lid (4) and remove the grill grate
(5).
2. Pile up part of the fuel on the fuel grate (7).
3. Place one or two pieces of solid kindling on
the pile you've made. Set them alight.
4. Let the solid kindling burn for 2 to 4 minutes.
Fill the fire bowl (8) with fuel little by little.
5. Spread the fuel evenly in the fire bowl using a
suitable metal tool.
6. Mount the grill grate with the aid of the grill
grate handles (6) and start grilling.
