Edge and profile cutting
The cutter must be equipped with
a stop ring (a) as guide when
edge or profile cutting without
parallel guide.
a
Procedure
1. Move the turned on device to the work-
piece until it sits on the stop ring on the
workpiece edge to be processed.
2. Move the device with both hands
along the workpiece edge. Avoid ex-
cessive pressure.
Milling with parallel guide
You can mill grooves and profiles with the
parallel stop by moving the parallel guide
along the workpiece edge at a pre-set dis-
tance.
NOTICE! Solid materials can only be
milled in small steps (max. 1-2 mm cutting
depth). Deeper grooves must be milled in
several steps.
Procedure
1. Fitting and removing the parallel
guide, p. 27
2. Set the milling depth to 1-2 mm (Set-
ting the milling depth, p. 28).
3. Make sure that the parallel guide (20)
lies against the workpiece edge cor-
rectly.
4. Switch on the device.
5. Move the device along the workpiece
edge with lateral pressure on the par-
allel guide (20). The parallel guide
(20) acts as a lateral guide.
NOTICE! Continuously check that the
groove has a right angle.
6. Repeat work steps 4-5 until you
achieve the desired result.

Milling with template guide
The template guide (22) lets you transfer
contours from templates to work-pieces.
Notes
• Insert a cutter that has a diameter smal-
ler than the inner diameter of the tem-
plate guide.
Procedure
1. Setting the milling depth, p. 28
2. Turn the lever (26) upwards and lower
the device downward until the previ-
ously set milling depth is reached.
3. Move the device with protruding tem-
plate guide (22) along the template.
Apply slight pressure during this work.
NOTICE! The template must be at least
as high as the ball race.
Transport
Information on transporting the device:
• Switch off the device and disconnect
the plug from the power outlet. Make
sure that all moving parts have come to
a complete stop.
• Remove the attachment tool.
• Unlock the power cord (15) by turning
the bushing (15a) anticlockwise and
pull the power cord out of the connec-
tion (27).
• Always carry the device by the handle
(4).
Cleaning, maintenance
and storage
WARNING! Electric shock! Risk of in-
jury due to unintentional start-up. Protect
yourself when performing maintenance or
cleaning work. Switch off the device and
disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

ance work that is not described in these
