SAFE CLOSING
To close the door, enter the user code again and turn the knob counterclockwise. The safe will be
closed.
EMERGENCY OPENING
For your safety, the Alpha Laptop Safe has an emergency key. Two units are provided with the safe.
These keys allow opening the safe even when the batteries are low or when the code is forgotten.
The opening process is the same as described in point 1.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The safe indicates a low battery charge through the red LED that lights up when you enter your
personal code. This indicates that the batteries need to be replaced.
To ensure the batteries have been inserted correctly, check before closing the door.
NOTE: Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of non-alkaline batteries.
SECURING THE SAFE
To reduce the risk of theft, the safe can be anchored to the floor, wall, or cupboard.
It has holes in the base and back that can be used with the provided screws.
WARNING: Keep the keys in a safe place, never inside the safe.
