FIRST USE
To open the safe for the first time, remove the security key cover located between the button and
the keypad on the front panel.
Insert the emergency key and turn it counterclockwise.
At the same time, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
The Alpha Laptop Safe uses 4 AA batteries (1.5V).
Open the safe and remove the battery compartment cover.
Insert the batteries into the compartment.
Ensure the batteries are correctly positioned according to their polarity.
Use only alkaline batteries.
USER CODE PROGRAMMING AND CHANGE
With the door open, press the RESET button located on the top of the door cover. The yellow LED
will light up and an acoustic sound will be heard.
Enter your user code of 2 to 8 digits followed by '#'. The yellow LED will turn off indicating that the
new code has been accepted and saved.
To modify the user code, follow the steps described above.
Before closing the door, verify the new code by following the opening instructions.
MASTER CODE PROGRAMMING AND CHANGE
DEFAULT MASTER CODE: 107321
Enter 00 and then press the red reset button located behind the door while the door is open. The
yellow light will come on with a short beep. Enter your master code of 2 to 8 digits followed by '#'.
The yellow light will turn off to indicate that the new master code has been accepted and saved.
To change the master code, follow the instructions above.
Before closing the door, verify the master code by following the opening instructions.
SAFE OPENING
Enter the user code you programmed and press '#'. The green LED will light up.
Turn the knob clockwise to open the safe within 5 seconds.
If the entered digit is incorrect, you can press '*' to cancel it.
NOTE: The yellow LED will light up and the safe will emit a beep each time it blinks indicating that
the microprocessor has confirmed it. If the yellow light continues to blink with the beep, it means
the entered code is incorrect. If the wrong code is entered ten times in a row, the safe will be locked
for 20 seconds.
