Pay attention when unpacking the device:
Dangerous for children.
Mortal danger of suffocation!
– Keep the packaging material (e.g. plastic bag) away from
children.
– Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they
are supervised.
To avoid life-threatening electric shock.
WARNING: Do not use this device near
bathtubs, shower tubs or other vessels
containing water.
– Never allow the device to fall into water or any other liquid.
– The device must not be used when the user is having a bath.
– If the device falls into water, pull out the plug immediately.
Do not touch the water!
– Remove the plug from the socket,
• if an error occurs
• before cleaning the device
• if you will not use the device for a long time
• after each use.
– Take care that the cable does not become jammed in
cupboard doors and does not get pulled over hot surfaces,
otherwise the cable insulation could be damaged.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
To avoid injury, care must be taken that:
– If the device is used in a bathroom, it must be unplugged
after use, since the proximity of water poses a danger even
when the device is switched off.
– Unplug the device from the power if you are not using it.
Allow the device to cool down and keep it in a safe, dry place.
– Do not place the device directly on surfaces when it is heated
or plugged into the socket.
– The cable must not be twisted, pulled, bent or wrapped
around the device. This can lead to early signs of wear.
– If the cable is twisted, untwist it before using.
– Regularly check the device and, above all, the cable for
defects and porous points. Take special care to check the
power cable and the power plug.
Use only when the device as well as the
cable and plug do not show any damage.
Under no circumstances should you use a
faulty device.
– Never try to repair a faulty device yourself!
– Keep the cable away from heated surfaces. Do not wind the
cable around the device.
– Do not drop the device and do not insert any objects into
openings in the device.
– If the device or the cable is damaged or faulty, this must be
replaced by OLYMP Customer Service or by an authorized
specialist, in order to avoid the risk of injury.
CAUTION!
The HairMaster®TRIMMER can become warm during use.
Avoid any eye or skin contact with the warm cutting head.
DANGER OF FIRE when used improperly!
– Do not use on artificial hair, only on human hair!
– Fire risk due to high temperatures!
– Note: Only use on dry hair
In order to ensure faultless operation, care
must be taken that:
– You use the device only according to the data given on the
specification plate.
– Permitted ambient temperature: +5°C to +40°C.
– Clean the device thoroughly after every use (see chapter
"Cleaning, Care, Storage").
– This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above
as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they
are supervised or instructed on the safe use of the device
and have understood the resulting dangers.
– Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
– Keep the parts and surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt and
chemicals (such as hairspray)
