7. Let the appliance on for 10 minutes.
8. Air the room during this operation.
NOTE: the appliance may emit odours and fumes when first used.
This is normal and will soon cease after a few uses.
Using your appliance
• Place your appliance on a flat, stable and heat resistant surface.
• Select one of the two cooking plates to be used or the stone
plate, then place it on the appliance's support and ensure that it
is correctly positioned.
• Plug in the appliance to an earthed socket, the power indicator
will turn on, set the thermostat to maximum and pre-heat for 15
minutes.
• Lightly grease the cooking plate. To do this, use a small basting
brush or a piece of kitchen paper with a small amount of oil.
Do not omit to grease the cooking plate as it is very
important for unsticking food such as vegetables or fish.
Never use steel objects, knives or forks on the cooking
plates and mini pans as you could scratch and damage the
non-stick coating.
• After pre-heating the appliance, place the ingredients on the
grill plate and remove them once cooked.
Grilling
Before grilling the food, if necessary, lightly grease
the cooking surface with a basting brush and some oil.
You can use small pans to grill mushrooms or prepare toast
sandwiches.
Raclette
Use the small pans to prepare the raclette:
Slice the cheese, preferably raclette cheese, to a thickness of 3 to
5 mm and place the slices in the mini pans. Do not overfill the mini
pans and make sure that the ingredients do not come into contact
