1.
Ensure the base is secure by fully
tightening the locking handles
(#12) on each side of the base
(Fig. 2).
2.
Turn the vise handle (#2)
counterclockwise to separate the
moving body (#6) from the
stationary body (#13), opening
the jaws (Fig. 3).
3.
Place the workpiece between the
serrated portion of the jaws (Fig.
4-1).
4.
Close the jaws around the
workpiece by turning the vise
handle clockwise.
4.1 Tighten the jaws securely.
This will be accomplished
when the vise handle can
no longer rotate.
4.2. Be careful not to overtighten
and damage your workpiece.
5.
Loosen the locking handles on both
sides of the base by turning them
counterclockwise.
5.1 Loosen only enough to rotate the
base freely. If loosened too much,
the vise may become unsteady or
tip.
6.
Swivel the base until in the desired
position.
7.
Tighten the locking handles securely.
