After the appliance is switched on, it may take several hours until the set temperature is reached.
Do not place any food into the appliance before the temperature drops to the selected setting.

To switch on the appliance: rotate the knob clockwise and select a
setting between 1 and 7.
To switch off the appliance, rotate the knob to position 0 (caution: the
appliance is still powered).
