5.3 Maintaining valve insert

> Pull off the bracket (1) and remove the toe (2).
> Pump up slide (6) with pump lever (3) until
screw (4) is exposed.
> Screw out the screw (4).
> Pull out the slide (6).
> Screw the screws (7) out of the base plate.
> Remove base plate and their attachment parts.

> Drain oil; see „Changing the oil" on p. 61.
> Clamp jack in vice and secure it against slipping.
> Remove screw connection (9).
> Screw off the hex nut (8) and remove the pump
linkage (10).
