Employees who are in charge of transporting loads
and who use these devices for this purpose must be
regularly instructed by a qualified person at least once
a year. It is not sufficient to merely hand out or hang
up regulations, operating manuals or warning signs.
When the jack is under load in the lifted state:
• no persons may work under the lifted object.
• the jack must not be left unsupervised.
• its use by unauthorized personnel must be
prevented.
• no objects may be under the lifted object.
All jacks are furnished with a safety valve, which limits
the permissible operating pressure of the internal
pump of the jack to 520 bar, and therefore limits the
maximum load capacity to a permissible value for the
respective jack.
