First steps before installation and commissioning:
Information about wireless connection:
The strength of radio signals decreases as the distance to
the transmitter increases. The overall range is limited. Dif-
ferent factors of influence can deaden radio waves, e.g. wall
thickness and material, room geometry and volume, type and
attachment of the receiver. The characteristics of the radio
signal must be checked and compared before installation.
KESSEL SE + Co. KG cannot accept liability for failures or fluc-
tuations in the mobile network.
Turn off the PIN request of the SIM card, ensure that the
SIM card is active and has a credit balance.

To do this, loosen the control
unit from the mounting plate
with the two screws using a
Torx screwdriver TX10 before
starting the installation
The SIM card holder (right-
hand side of the modem) can
be released from the device
by pressing the yellow ejection
opening. This can be done,
for example, with a pen or a
paperclip.
Insert the SIM card into the
SIM card holder provided and
then insert the SIM card holder
back into the modem.

Use the two screws to attach
the modem to the mounting
plate again and connect the
power pack to the modem and
the voltage supply.
