8.2. External control
You can use this feature if an external control device is connected to your charging station. The override func-
tion depends on the connected devices. It can be for example a load management system for your entire
property or a switch or a timer that controls your charging station.
Please study the user instructions for the connected devices.
You can enable / disable this feature from the Charger Control Application.
9. Maintenance / Preventive maintenance instructions
Do these maintenance actions once a year or as necessary.
With well-done maintenance you can ensure a long lifetime of the charging station and keep the warranty
valid.

Maintenance action
Clean possible dirt and dust from the surface of the charging station. Wipe carefully with a moist cloth.
Examine the charging plug and the charging cable for wear out or mechanical damage.
The charging plug and cable must only be replaced by a qualified professional.
Update the software with the Charger Control application, if a new version is provided.
Obey the instructions given by the Charger Control application during the update.
Test the residual current device. Comply local requirements for testing interval, but test the device at
least once every six months.
10. Residual current device testing instructions
EVH161B-HC000 / EVH321B-HC000 / EVH163B-HC000 / EVH323B-HC000:
Test the residual current device at the supply line.
EVH161B-HCR00 / EVH321B-HCR00 / EVH163B-HCR00 / EVH323B-HCR00:

The combined device with residual current circuit breaker and over current protection (RCBO) is located
in the installation box.

Open the installation box hatch.
Press the TEST button.

The rocker turns to 0 position.
•
Turn the rocker back to I position.
•
•
If a fault occurs, contact an electrician.
