Standby Mode
When no functions are being used, the microwave oven will switch to standby mode and slightly dim the display brightness after about
10 minutes. Press any button or open the door, the display will return to normal lightness.
Charcoal Filter Alert Reset
The charcoal filter is behind the grease filter. It cannot be cleaned and should be replaced every 6 months, while the display shows the
filter alert "Change the Charcoal Filter and reset reminder in Settings".
To remove the filter alert and reset filters duration:
After replacing the charcoal filter (see the instructions on the Quick Start Guide for how to replace the charcoal filter), to remove the filter
alert on the display, retrieve another 6 months duration.
1. Press the Setting button, use the Arrow button to select Cleaning and Maintenance submenu, press Select/Menu button to enter.
2. Use the Arrow button to select the Reset filter submenu, press Select/Menu button to reset.
The charcoal filter retrieves another 6 months duration now.
NOTE: For roof venting and wall venting, charcoal filters are not necessary, but the filter alert still will appear every 6 months, you can
follow above steps to remove the alert.
Steam Clean
This automatic cleaning cycle will help you to clean the microwave oven cavity and to remove unpleasant odors.
Before starting the cycle:
1. Remove all accessories from the cavity.
2. Put 250 mL water into a container (see our recommendations in the below section "Tips and suggestions").
3. Place the container directly on the middle of the oven bottom.
4. Close the door.
To Start The Cycle:
1. Press the Setting button, press the Arrow button scroll to Cleaning and Maintenance submenu, find the Steam Clean function.
2. Press the START/Add +30 sec button to start the function.
When The Cycle Is Finished:
1. Press the STOP/CANCEL button.
2. Remove the container.
3. Use a soft cloth or a paper towel with mild detergent to clean the interior surfaces.
Tips and suggestions:
For a better cleaning result, it is recommended to use a container with a diameter of 17-20 cm, and a height that is lower than 6.5 cm.
It is recommended to use a container of light plastic material that is suitable for the microwave.
As the container will be hot after the cleaning cycle is completed, it is recommended to use a heat resistant glove when removing the
container from the microwave.
For a better cleaning effect and removal of unpleasant odors, add some lemon juice or vinegar to the water.
Display Clock
You can turn on/off the display clock . The setting is in the Settings-Preferences-Display Settings-Display clock submenu.
1. Press the Settings button, press the Arrow buttons select Preferences, press the Select/Menu button to confirm your setting.
2. Press the Select/Menu button to enter.
3. Press the Arrow buttons to switch on or off.
4. Press the Select/Menu button to confirm your setting.
Display Brightness
You can set the display brightness of the unit. The setting is in the Settings-Preferences-Display Settings-Display brightness submenu.
1. Press the Settings button, press the Arrow buttons select Preferences, press the Select/Menu button to confirm your setting.
2. Press the Select/Menu button to enter.
3. Press the Arrow buttons, Display brightness 100%(default) is on the screen, press the Select/Menu button to enter.
4. Press the Arrow buttons to change brightness level in 100%, 80%, 60%, 40% or 20%.
5. Press the Select/Menu button to confirm your setting.
Language
English, Spanish, French is available. The language setting is in the Settings-Preferences-Language and regional submenu.
1. Press the Settings button, press the Arrow buttons select Preferences, press the Select/Menu button to confirm your setting.
2. Press Arrow buttons to Language and regional submenu, press the Select/Menu button to confirm your setting.
3. Press the Select/Menu button to set the Language. Press the Arrow button to select English, Spanish or French.
4. Press the Select/Menu button to confirm your setting.
