05. OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
a. When the plug is inserted into the socket, the device will automati cally go
to sleep.
b. Press the power butt on to switch the unit on or off . When switched on, the
functi on indicators will illuminate on the screen.
c. Only pour disti lled water into the appliance. Using tap water can cause large
scale accumulati ons.
d. Select one of the possible functi ons:
• Quick heat: Pour in approximately 500ml of water, then insert the bott le
or jar of food and replace the lid. Press the quick heat functi on butt on
and set the temperature between 35°C-40°C, the default temperature is
40°C. The appliance will start the accelerated heati ng mode. Once heated
to the set temperature, the heater will switch off but will conti nue to give
off heat, so the actual temperature may diff er from the set temperature
by up to ~10°C. If you want a stable heati ng temperature, use the milk
heati ng functi on. Check the temperature of the heated food before serv-
ing to your baby. When heati ng is complete, press the power butt on or
quick heat again to put the unit into sleep mode or unplug the steriliser.
CAUTION: This mode is not recommended for warming milk.
• Temperature maintenance: Pour between 300 and 500 ml of water,
then insert the bott le, pouch or jar of food and replace the lid. Press
the modifi ed milk functi on butt on and set the temperature between
40°C-65°C, the default temperature is 45°C. When fi nished heati ng, press
the power butt on or reheat modifi ed milk to put the unit into sleep
mode or unplug the steriliser.
• Hea� ng the milk: Pour in between 300 and 500 ml of water, then insert
a bott le, pouch or jar of breastmilk and replace the lid. Press the milk
warming functi on butt on and set the temperature between 35°C-45°C,
the default temperature is 40°C. When fi nished heati ng, press the power
butt on or milk reheat butt on to put the unit into sleep mode or unplug
the steriliser.
• Defros� ng: pour between 300 and 500 ml of water, then insert a bott le,
