before fi rst use. Wash the handle, pour disti lled water into the heater and
switch on the sterilisati on functi on. A� er sterilisati on, pour out the water
and leave the device to dry.
02. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the unit from the socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning
2. Be careful not to damage the heati ng surface with sharp metal tools.
3. If limescale accumulates, pour citric acid or vinegar into the water and boil
using the sterilising functi on.
4. Cleaning: Remove the top cover from the body and wipe the surface of
the unit with a damp, so� cloth. It is recommended to clean the unit every
10 - 15 days.
5. Do not use abrasive cleaning tools to avoid scratching the product. Other-
wise, the protecti ve layer on the hob surface will be damaged, resulti ng in
oxidati on and blackening of the hob surface.
6. Set the unit aside to dry a� er cleaning. Do not immerse the body in water
for cleaning.
7. It is recommended to pour a mixture of citric acid and vinegar or detergent
into the vessel every two months and leave it for 10 minutes, then rinse it
under running water.
8. For bett er descaling of the appliance, remove the heater protecti on SEE
FIG.E.1 and FIG.E.2
9. When cleaning is complete, fi t the heater protecti on back in place. SEE
FIG.E.3
10. You risk damaging the heater if you use sharp tools to clean it.
11. Never use the appliance without the heater protecti on in place.
