4.4.
USE THE RADIO
To start listening to radio, follow the steps below.
1. Press the FM/AM/Off button (
default, your device turns on the FM radio. To switch between
the FM radio and AM radio, press this button again. When the
FM radio is on, the FM radio indicator (FM) lights up. When
the AM radio is on, the AM radio indicator (AM) lights up.
2. Your device tunes in to and displays the start of the FM/AM
frequency band or the last radio frequency you tuned it to.
3. Tune your device to your desired radio station and adjust
the antenna if needed. See the sections below for more
information.
4. To adjust the volume, press the Alarm 1/Volume down button

) or Alarm 2/Volume up button (
levels are between 00 and 16.
5. To turn off the radio and return to time display mode, press
and hold the FM/AM/Off button (
Tips:
•
When the radio is on, your device will return to display the
current time after 10 seconds if you don't tune it or adjust its
volume. To view the radio frequency again, press the Hour
setting/Tuning down button (
).

When you turn on the radio again, your device will tune in to
the last radio frequency you tuned it to and set the volume
to the last level.
4.4.1.
ADJUST THE ANTENNA
FM:
To get a good reception, fully unwind the FM radio antenna and
try moving it around.
AM:
The sensitive ferrite bar antenna inside the set will provide
satisfactory AM reception in most areas. Turn the set in the
direction which gives the best result as the ferrite bar antenna
is directional.
4.4.2.
PERFORM AN AUTOMATIC SEARCH
Your device can automatically search for and save up to 10 FM
stations and up to 10 AM stations.
