CLEANING
1. Unplug the cord from the wall outlet before cleaning the
blender or attachments.
2. Wash the blender wand, blender head, attachments, beaker
and lid using hot water, taking care not to immerse the motor
unit in it. To clean the motor unit, wipe it with a damp cloth.
Washing-up liquid can be used, but never abrasive cleaners.
3. Your blender's attachments simply pull off for cleaning.
Place the tool (11) under the attachment (7, 8 or 9) and lift it
off while pressing your thumb against the attachment to pre-
vent it from uncontrolled detaching. Keep attachments in line
with the wand when inserting them. Ensure that the driving
pin of the shaft in the wand locates exactly with the indent in
the attachment.
4. To clean the cord, wipe it with a warm, damp cloth.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized
service representative.

INSTALLATION
Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal surface that is
neither hot nor near a heat source. The surface must be dry.
Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children.
Check that the voltage indicated on the rating label of the
appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage. Connect
the appliance only to a properly earthed wall outlet with an
output rating of at least 6 A. (Use a residual current device
(RCD) – please contact a qualified electrician for advice.) The
wall outlet must be easily accessible while the appliance is in
use in case of emergency. The manufacturer is not responsi-
ble for accidents caused by poor or inexistent grounding of
the appliance.
If the plug provided with the appliance is incompatible with
the wall outlet, have it changed by a qualified electrician.
SPECIAL ADVICE
MAINS CORD
If care is taken, a mains extension cable can be used.
If a mains extension cable is used, its electrical rating must at
least match that of the appliance; if the appliance is earthed,
the extension cable must be a three-core earthed cable. The
lengthened cable must not be allowed to hang over the edge
of the table or counter: children must not be able to pull on it,
and it must not be allowed to present a trip hazard.
FOR USA – CANADA
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
BEFORE USING
Clean the blender and the accessory attachments before
