Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
Do not touch the appliance with damp or wet hands.
Do not touch the cord or plug with wet hands.
Do not use any accessory attachment not recommended by
the appliance manufacturer. This may cause fire, electric
shock or injury.
Do not use force on any of the buttons to make them stay in
the ON position and do not modify the buttons to make them
stay in the ON position. This could damage the blender. It
could also cause injury.
Never immerse the motor unit in water: remember that this is
an electrical appliance.
Clean the appliance using a damp cloth only.
Release the button and unplug the cord from the wall outlet
to isolate the appliance.
When unplugging the cord from the wall outlet always grasp
the plug, not the cord.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter
or touch hot surfaces.
Do not let the cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending
to prevent the possibility of serve injury to persons or damage
to the unit. A scraper may be used but must be used only
when the unit is not running.
Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unat-
tended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged

in any way. Instead, take it to the nearest authorised service
centre for examination, repair or adjustment.
Never attempt to replace the cord, as special tools are
required. Repairs to or replacements of the cord should be
left to a service centre authorised by the manufacturer to
ensure the safety of the appliance.
Never immerse the cord, motor unit or plug in water or other
liquid, as this could cause fire, electric shock or injury.
The appliance must remain disconnected from the mains
while it is being cleaned.
Do not touch any rotating parts.
To avoid splashing, use a tall container or reduce the quantity
when blending liquids, especially if they are hot.
Keep hair, fingers and utensils away from rotating parts to
avoid serious injury to persons and damage to the appliance.
The blades are sharp: handle them with care.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
Beware of potential injury from misuse. Care shall be taken
when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl
and during cleaning.
Never operate the appliance with damaged accessories.
Check for any damage every time before and after use.
Handle the accessories with care. Never use bare hands to
install and/or remove the accessories. The sharp edges of the
accessories can cause injury.
Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the blender jar as it can
be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through
an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to
a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
