Work area
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may
ignite the dust or fumes.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Electrical Safety
(The following applies only to tools with a separate battery pack)
A battery operated tool with integral batteries or a separate battery pack must be recharged only with the specified charger for the battery. A charger that may
be suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.
Personal Safety
1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
2. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

accidents.

5. Use safety equipment. Always wear hearing and eye protection, Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat must be used for appropriate conditions.
Power tool use and care
1. Use clamps or other practical ways to secure and support the work piece to a stable platform. Holding the work piece by hand or against your body is unstable
and may lead to loss of control.
2. Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed.

serviced before using .Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.

Recommended and Proper Use
This power product is supplied without batteries or charger. This power tool should only be operated combined with the recommended by the manufacturer
genuine Bormann battery and charger. This tool is intended for cutting branches and can also be used for sawing wood, soft metal (e. g. copper) and
plasterboard if appropriate saw blades are used. It is suitable for curvy and straight cuts.
Device-specific safety instructions
This device must not be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge unless
someone who is responsible for their safety supervises or instructs them while they are using the device.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Keep all body parts away from the blade when the saw is running. Before starting the garden saw, ensure that the saw blade is not in contact with anything. If
you momentarily lose concentration during the operation of the saw, clothing or body parts may get caught by the saw blade.
Wear protective goggles and ear protection when working with the saw. Additional protective equipment for head, hands, legs and feet is recommended.
Appropriate protective clothing reduces the risk of injuries caused by ejected parts or accidental contact with the saw blade.
The garden saw may not be used in a tree. Operating the garden saw while sitting in a tree may lead to injuries.
Always ensure that you stand well and safely and only operate the garden saw if you are standing on a solid, safe and even surface. Slippery or unstable
surfaces such as ladders can lead to the loss of balance and control over the saw.
If you saw a branch which is tensioned, keep in mind that it may spring back. When the tension of the wood fibbers is released, the branch may hit the
operator and/or the garden saw may get out of control.
Take special care when sawing bushes and saplings. The thin material may get caught in the saw blade and jerk towards you or throw you off balance.
Remove chips or splinters only when the machine is switched off and stands still.
Do not place the saw down until the saw blade has come to a complete standstill.
Keep the handle dry, clean and free of oil and grease. Greasy, oily handles are slippery and lead to a loss of control. Exclusively use sharp and undamaged saw
blades. Do not use torn or bent saw blades.
Always choose a saw blade which is suitable for the material to be processed.
Kickback
Kickback may occur if the tip of the saw blade comes into contact with an object or if the wood locks and jams the saw blade in the cut.
If the tip touches an object, the saw blade may be pushed upwards in the direction of the operator. In this case, you may lose control over the saw which may
lead to severe injuries.
Kickback is the result of incorrect use of the tool and/or incorrect operating methods. It can be avoided by taking the following precautions:
Hold the garden saw firmly in both hands with your thumb and fingers around the handles.
Position your body and arm so that you can absorb any possible recoil.
Do not lean too far forward and do not cut above shoulder height. In this way, you can avoid unintended contact of the tip.
Only use the replacement saw blades which are specified by the manufacturer. Wrong saw blades may lead to breaking and/or recoiling of the saw blade.
