7.4 The tool is not operating or no longer operating satisfactorily

Possible cause
One or more couplers are not connected properly. Disconnect and reconnect the coupler(s).
The pressure relief valve on the pump is in the
"neutral" position.
There is no oil left in the pump.
There is air in the system.
The change-over valve on the pump is in the
wrong position (dual-hose system if present).
The pump does not build up any pressure.
7.5 Oil leaks from the return line safety valve

Possible cause
Check all couplings.
The return line is not connected (only for dual-
hose system).
The tool load is too high (disconnected).
7.6 The deadman's button is jammed or does not automatically return to its
home position

Possible cause
The deadman's button is damaged
The deadman's button is stuck.

Solution
CORE™ system:
- Close the pressure relief valve by using a
screwdriver to turn it anti-clockwise as far as
the stop.
Dual-hose system:
• Set the pressure relief valve on the pump to
the "operation" position.
Add hydraulic oil.
CORE™ system:
• Disconnect the hose from the tool.
• Let the pump run idle for one minute.
• Connect the tool.
• Open and close (entirely) the tool once.
Dual-hose system:
• Disconnect the hoses from the tool and
connect them to each other
• Let the pump run idle for one minute.
• Disconnect the hoses and connect the tool.
• Open and close (entirely) the tool once.
Set the change-over valve to the correct position.

Solution
Disconnect and reconnect the couplers
Connect the return line.
Clean or replace the valve by the Holmatro dealer.
Solution
Have it repaired by a Holmatro Certified
Technician.
