For safety reasons, recharge the battery only with chargers supplied by
Advanced Bionics.
During the charging process, the battery symbol on the Home screen will flash. Once
the battery is fully charged, the battery symbol will stop flashing and remain visible.
Charging an empty battery typically takes about 90 minutes. It is safe to leave the
charger connected overnight—the battery cannot be overcharged.
When charging the AB myPilot for the first time, leave it to charge for five hours, even
if the battery symbol stops flashing.
A new battery's full performance is achieved only after two or three complete charge
and discharge cycles.
The AB myPilot battery can be charged hundreds of times. If the operating time of
the AB myPilot reduces substantially, please contact a hearing care professional or
Advanced Bionics.
