Troubleshooting
Warning! If there is a fault, unplug your appliance. Only a qualified electrician or
competent person may carry out troubleshooting.
If an operating problem occurs, check the following points before calling our approved after-sales
department or a qualified professional.
Problem
Appliance is
not working
correctly
Appliance
freezes or
cools too
much.
Heavy build-up
of frost on the
door seal.
Water on the
floor.
Appliance
surfaces are
hot when in
use.
Unusual noises
Some noises may be heard during normal appliance operation (compressor operating
cycle, automatic defrosting, circulation of the refrigerating gas through the appliance,
etc.).
If you cannot find the cause of the fault, only call our approved after-sales service
or a qualified professional.
Possible cause
The power cord is not plugged in
or is loose.
Fuse has blown or is defective.
Outlet is defective.
Temperature is set too cold
The door seal is not sealing.
Water drain hole is blocked.
This is normal. Heat exchanger
parts are located in the side walls.
The appliance is not level.
The appliance is touching the wall
or other objects.
A component, e.g. a pipe, on the
rear of the appliance is touching
another part of the appliance or
the wall.
Solution
Connect the power cord.
Check fuse, replace if necessary.
Electrical malfunctions need to be repaired
by an electrician.
Turn the thermostat to a warmer setting
temporarily.
Carefully warm the leaking sections of the
door seal with a hair dryer (on a cool
setting). At the same time, handle the
heated door seal with your hands to ensure
that the appliance seals.

Wear gloves when touching the side walls if
necessary.
Readjust the feet.
Move the appliance slightly.
If necessary, carefully bend the component
out of the way.
