External Battery Installation
WARNING! If the external battery connector is not in use, the plastic battery
cover must remain on the UPS at all times, as shown in step 1.
1. Locate the external battery connector on
the rear panel of the UPS.
3. Connect the external battery connector to
the UPS.
5. The battery connector is now securely
connected. Turn the battery switch
indicator on the UPS to the ON position.
2. A plastic cover is covering the external
battery connector. Using a Phillips
screwdriver, remove the plastic cover and
save the two screws.
4. Using the provided battery bracket and
two screws removed in step 2, secure the
external battery connector to the UPS.
