Remove shiny metal discolorations with a damp cloth and a solution of water and vinegar.

WARNING!
• ELECTROCUTION HAZARD DUE TO SHORT CIRCUIT. Do not perform any repairs to the appliance that are not
described in this manual. The appliance may only be repaired by an authorised service technician.
• RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HEAT. Always allow the appliance to cool completely and remove the plug from the earthed
socket before maintenance or cleaning.
• RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HEAT. Never touch hot parts of the appliance. Do not touch anything except the control panel
or wait until the appliance has cooled down completely.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The appliance refuses to turn on.
The appliance will switch off.
The cooking zone can't be turned on.
The cooking zone will switch off.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The power cable is not connected to an
earthed socket.
The power cable is not connected
correctly to an earthed socket.
There is no voltage on the earthed
socket.
The fuse is blown or defective.
The temperature sensor measures too
high a temperature.
The appliance detects objects (except
induction pans) lying on it.
The appliance has been on for some
time and will switch off automatically
if it is at a certain power level for an
extended period of time. Below are the
automatic cut-off times for each power
setting:
Power setting 1-3: 360 minutes
Power setting 4-6: 180 minutes
Power setting 7-8: 120 minutes
Power setting 9: 90 minutes
The appliance is not turned on.
The buttons do not react.
The child lock function is enabled.
The timer is set.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Plug the power cable into an earthed
socket.
Insert the power cable correctly into an
earthed power socket.
Plug the power cable into another
earthed socket. In the event of a faulty
socket, please contact an authorised
service technician.
Check the fuse and replace if
necessary.
Let the device cool down.
Remove the objects from the appliance.
Press the on/off button to turn on the
appliance.
Press the on/off button to turn on the
appliance.
Make the buttons clean, dry and free
of objects.
Press and hold the child lock button for
5 seconds to disable the child lock.
Using the cooking zone without timer.
