Adjusting the height of the
handlebar (Fig. C)
The handlebar can be adjusted to three
different heights. The item may only
be used if the locking knob is locked in
place in one of the three holes provided
and the T-tube is then secured using the
quick-release fastener.
1. Loosen the quick-release fastener (4) on the
handlebar (2).
2. Pull the T-tube (5) upwards, until the locking
knob (6) locks into place in one of the three
holes (7).
3. Secure the T-tube (5) by locking the quick-
release fastener (4).
Note: If the quick-release fastener (4) is too
loose, you can manually adjust the knurled
screw (8) on the back of the fastener.
Disassembly
Press the pin (3) on the back of the Tri-Scooter's
base and pull out the handlebar (2) (Fig. B).
Use
Riding
Put one foot on the deck and give momentum
by regularly pushing off with the other foot.
The Tri-Scooter can be steered by moving the
handlebars, by shifting your weight or using a
combination of both.
Maintenance
Replacing the front wheels
The front wheels can be replaced.
Important! Pay attention to the
technical specifications. Wheels with a
different diameter may alter the riding
properties and possibly endanger the
user. Do not use wheels that cannot be
installed properly. Never use wheels
that are larger than the original wheels
on the item.
Wheels wear out. This wear depends on many
factors, including the terrain, the size and weight
of the user, the weather conditions, the material
of the wheels and their hardness, etc. Therefore,
it is necessary to replace them now and then.
1. Using a suitable Allen key, loosen the screws
on the two front wheels.
2. Install the new wheels and secure them with
the screws.
After replacing the wheels:
After the first few minutes of riding,
make sure that the screws are still
tight and that nothing has detached
or become loose. Tension the wheel
once more to make sure that it runs
smoothly.
Storage, cleaning
We recommend that you clean and dry the item
thoroughly after use. Remove small stones or
other objects that may have become stuck to the
wheels. Always store the item in a dry place.
