5. INSTALLATION AND USE
5.1 Safety instructions
DANGER ELECTRIC SHOCK
• Don' t let the power supply cord touch hot parts
• Don't let the power supply cord along a table or a counter
• The appliance must be connected with a single-phase socket in conformity.
• Before any installation check all the electric cables or piping
WARNING
Operating your appliance can reach very high temperature. To avoid injuries and burns do not use the
appliance if it is damaged. Do no use spare parts not provided with your appliance.
DANGER ELECTRIC SHOCK
In the event of bad installation, the appliance can be dangerous and cause injuries. The electrical safety of
this appliance is ensured only if it is correctly connected to an efficiently earthed system in accordance with
electrical safety regulations. The appliance must be unpacked entirely before the connection.
5.2 Installation and use
Always fill the tank with cold water.
Make sure to use the minimum amount of coffee for brewing
- For appliance CPC48 around 20 cups i.e. 3 liters
- For appliance CPC60 around 20 cups i.e.3 liters
- For appliance CPC100 around 40 cups i.e. 6 liters
WARNING
Installation and maintenance must be only carried out by qualified technician.
Never let your appliance operating without supervision.
Always operate with dry hands.
Operating never move or tilt your appliance.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Before using your coffee percolator clean all of the accessories with water and washing up liquid then dry
them
- Place it on a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface
- Before the first use fill the boiler with water to "MAX" level, boil, discard the water, and then rinse thoroughly.
- Check that the base or the water tube is placed on the hole at the bottom of the tank
- Place the right quantity of ground coffee in the filter holder. (Quantity around 6g for a cup)
- Pour cold water in the tank respecting the quantity of coffee desired and the minimal level.
- Place and close the lid
- Press ON/OFF switch on ON. Then the heating indicator flashes while the appliance is warming up. When
the Temperature control indicator turn to green it means coffee is ready to be drink and will stayed at the good
temperature.
- To reheat coffee, remove the filter and the water tube check it remains at least the equivalent of 12 cups of
coffee, close the appliance, put the ON OFF switch on ON.
- To pour the coffee: pull the tap in front and keep it in the position till the cup or jar is full. To stop let the tap
going back in its initial position automatically.
ADVICE
The position of the tap up on the tank allow the residual of use ground coffee to remain at the bottom of the
appliance and so is not mix with the coffee when served.
