Before operating the
appliance, please read this
manual and all the safety
instructions thoroughly and
retain it for future reference.
Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord,
plugs, or (state-specific part or parts in question) in water or other
liquid.
4. This Sandwich Maker is not intended for use by persons, including
children, with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Children should be looked after like this way, to ensure they will
not play the appliance.
6. The appliance should not be worked by an external timer or
individual remote control.
7. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow
cooling before putting on or taking off parts.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.

9. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
10. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes or industrial
use.
11. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or
touch hot surfaces.
12. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
14. Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord
into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then
remove the plug from the wall outlet.
15. Do not use appliances other than intended use.
16. Do not attempt to dislodge food when the appliance is plugged
in.
17. A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touching
flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like,
when in operation.
18. Do not pour oil, grease into the plate for deep fry food because it
will cause fire damage.
