Power cord
The power cord can be disconntect from the unit. This enables you to work
wireless for several minutes after heat-up. After re-connecting with the power
cord again, please wait for 3 to 4 minutes, until the glue gun has reached the
correkt temperature.
4.3
Temperature setting
The temperature can be increased by turning the knob (7) anticlockwise. The
temperature can be regulated from 140°C to 230°C.
Do not set the temperature higher than the processing temperature of the hot
melt adhesive to avoid thermal damage and spraying of the hot melt adhe-
sive!

Adhesion instructions
Please observe the following tips and instructions to ensure perfect material
bonding at all times:
• The surfaces to be glued should be at room temperature and free of dust,
grease and moisture. Residues of waxes, separating oils, softeners or
impregnations on the workpieces can cause the adhesive to unglue imme-
diately or later.
• Apply hot melt adhesive in bead or line form. Large hot melt adhesive
beads will bond better than small beads. Immediately press workpieces
tightly together for several seconds.
Slow, continuous removal will not cause the processing temperature to drop.
4.5
Breaks/end of work
Switch off the device at the on/off switch (5) if you do not expect to need hot
melt adhesive for more than 20 - 25 minutes.
The hot melt adhesive can remain in the unit and be melted again when
reused.

Replacing the nozzle
Special nozzles are available for special jobs.
To replace the nozzle, the device must be warm but disconnected from the
mains.
1. Hold the device in place with heat protection gloves.
2. Remove the nozzle insulation (2).
3. Unscrew the nozzle (1) and do not pull the trigger. The nozzle should point
slightly upwards so that the hot melt adhesive cannot leak out of the melt-
ing chamber.
4. Screw the replacement nozzle on tightly.
5. Replace the nozzle insulation (2).
