Take suitable steps to take the tension off the dent removal tool before commencing any inspection or
maintenance work.

Grease:

You must dispose of old hydraulic fluid in accordance with the statutory
regulations!
Malfunctions and their causes
Malfunction
The pump produces no pressure
The piston does not move

When you take the dent removal tool out of service, arrange for it to be disposed
of in accordance with the statutory recycling regulations!

Are there any oil leaks?
Check the oil level
Check that the rating plates are legible
Test the overload protection device (overpressure valve)
Arrange for testing by an expert 1)
Change the oil
To check the oil level you must stand
the pump upright.
Remove the oil filler plug • and read
off the oil level.
If necessary, fill in more oil up to the
mark.
Renew the high-pressure hydraulic pipe
Cause
The vent plug is open
The load is too great, the pressure
limiting valve is active
The drain plug does not close or the
valve seat is not tight due to dirt deposits
There is a leak in the hydraulics system
