18. The appliance is for household use only. It is not safe to use on a building site, greenhouse, and barn
or stable where there is flammable dust.
19. Don't use this unit as a cloth drier or towel drier or as a sauna heater.
INSTALLATION
Do not place the unit close to curtains and / or other flammable objects.
The appliance must be correctly installed according to the instructions. When assembling, keep clear from any
board or flammable material.
The unit must be placed securely on a flat level surface with the clearance of 100cm to the wall and 30cm to the
ceiling. Make sure the base is completely in contact with the floor. If the appliance tilts or falls over, the auto
cut off switch will activate.
Make sure the head is at least 1.8m from the floor.
Unpack the halogen heater making sure that all the items are present and that there are no components left in
the box and that the heater head is free from any packing material.
Do not connect the halogen heater to the electrical supply until all the assembly is complete.
Do not connect the halogen heater to the electrical supply if any of the components or the power cord is
damaged in any way.
If in doubt, contact your supplier.
Using the detailed drawing on pages 15-16, follow the instruction to assemble your halogen heater
(ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS).

USER INSTRUCTION

Connect the power cable to a suitable supply that is located in a safe, dry area.
The switch on the heater head is used to control the two heat settings:
(I) for 1000W
(II) for 2000W.
Although the patio heater is shower proof, do not use when raining or in wet conditions.
Always disconnect the power cable from the electrical supply, when the patio heater is not in use.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1. After use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the heater to cool.
2. Don t immerse this unit into water for cleaning.
3. When disconnected from the electrical supply, clean the outside of the patio heater with a damp cloth.
4. Never use corrosive or solvent cleaners or immerse in water.
5. Any maintenance or repairs including replacing the halogen tube should only be carried out by a qualified
electrician or by a recommended service center.
6. ATTENTION: never touch the bulb with bare hands as contact with the human skin could damage the bulb
Always use protective gloves. ATTENTION: for cleaning, never use alcohol solvents or other acids.
7. Do not throw the box, use it to store the equipment.
8. When you don't use the appliance, store it in its original packaging and store in a dry place.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISPOSAL
Disposal of this product shall be governed by the European Community Directive 2012/19/UE on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE). According to this regulation, the consumer has the obligation NOT to dispose
of this product as household waste but through separate channels of collection (WEEE). In the case of
purchasing a similar new product, this product can be disposed free of charge from the distributor. The
disposal is free, no purchase required, for WEEE small size (external dimensions below 25 cm). Comply with
local regulations in the fields of waste disposal. It is always possible to dispose of this product at a WEEE
collection center predisposed by the public administration. The incorrect disposal of this article could have
potential adverse effects on the environment and human health. This symbol indicates the consumer's duty to
dispose of this article as WEEE and NOT as household waste. Improper disposal of the product by the consumer involves
the application of administrative sanctions provided by law.
