Safety information
Life-threatening hazard!
• Never leave children unattended
with the packaging materials.
There is a risk of suffocation.
• The produkt is not a toy or a climb-
ing apparatus! Ensure that per-
sons, especially children, do not
pull themselves up on the produkt
or lean against it. The produkt can
topple over.
Risk of injury!
• Please take care of your fingers
when folding and unfolding. There
is a risk of injury from crushing.
• The produkt may only be used un-
der adult supervision and should
not be used as a toy.
• Ensure the produkt is properly
stabilised before using it.
• Keep open flames, BBQs and heat
sources away from the produkt.
• Make sure that the produkt has
been completely opened before
you use it.
• Check the produkt for damage or
wear before each use.
• Check that all parts have been
installed properly before each use.
Improper assembly can impair the
produkt's safety and functionality.
• The produkt must not be used in
adverse weather conditions such
as strong winds, rain or snow.
• You must not, under any circum-
stances, use the produkt as a
shelter in storms.
• Before opening or closing the
produkt, ensure that there are no
persons or objects in the opening
or closing areas.
• The produkt offers protection from
direct sunlight outdoors. Due to
reflecting UV radiation, appropri-
ate sunscreen products should still
be used.
Preventing damage to the
produkt!
• Close the product when there is
wind or other adverse weather
conditions. Secure the product
against accidental opening with
the tie straps.
• Protect the produkt during extreme
weather conditions, such as strong
wind.
Store the produkt in a sheltered
area.
• When the produkt is open, do not
leave it unsupervised.
• Make sure that the produkt is
placed in a suitable balcony para-
sol base on a stable, even surface.
The balcony parasol base used
must be suitable for a parasol of
this size.
It must have a minimum weight of
30kg so that the parasol stands
firmly and securely.
Please note the information pro-
vided by the manufacturer of
the parasol base regarding the
parasol's minimum insertion depth
(min. 15cm).
• Do not make any modifications to
the produkt.
• Do not hang anything on the pro-
dukt's cross bars.
• Check regularly that all connec-
tions are tight.
• The manufacturer accepts no
liability for accidents which occur
as a result of ignoring the safety
information above, or as a result
of inappropriate handling.
Assembly
1. Insert the mast extension (2)
completely into a suitable parasol
base (not included in the package
contents) (Fig. B).
2. Insert the parasol mast (1a) into
the mast extension (2) and turn
the fixing wheel (2a), to fasten the
parasol mast (Fig. C).
