Door Panel Preparation – Custom Panel

ATTACHING THE BRACKETS
Refer to 'Custom Door panel dimensions' for correct
screw hole positions on the door panel. The custom
panel must be 3/4" (1.91cm) thick.
NOTE: We recommend that decorative panel has inside
corners and edges rounded or beveled by cabinet maker
to avoid sharp edges. Edges to be treated should include
the top, bottom and hinge side edges.
NOTE: The back side of the panel is recommended to
be finished. Portions of the back side of the panel will be
visible when the door is open.
Mark a line across the center of the custom door panel.
Align the 'V' notch at the top of the bracket to the center
line.
Secure the top hanging bracket to the screw holes of the
custom door panel with M5x12 cross-head screws.
Secure the bracket spacer, side bracket and bracket
slider (in order as illustrated) to the screw holes on
both sides of the door panel with M5x12 cross-head
screws. The side bracket should be able to move freely
horizontally and vertically.
ATTACHING THE HANDLE
Care should be taken to avoid handle holes clashing with
door panel top hanging bracket and side brackets. Refer
to 'Custom Door panel dimensions' for correct screw hole
positions on the door panel.
Custom panel requires a custom handle from a cabinet
maker or the use of the ZKPN - Handle Mounting
Kit (sold separately) if you are using the Monogram
Statement or Minimalist handles (sold separately).
For custom handle installation, counter-bore holes in rear
of the decorative panel. Ensure 1/2" (1.27cm) material
thickness remains for handle support.
NOTE: The counter-bore must not exceed 1" (2.54 cm) in
diameter.
