Installation Instructions
OneStep™ Installation
1. STATION: Using the three screws and wall anchors
provided, mount the station near the potential eye hazard in
plain view. The station includes three screw holes for
mounting to a solid surface wall.
2. EYEWASH BOTTLE: Remove the pin from the holder
brackets on the station. While holding bottle, align the cap
eyelets between the brackets and slide the pin through the
brackets and eyelets (Figure 1).
3. DUST COVER: Slide the dust cover from the top onto the
station as shown in Figure 1.
4. SAFETY SIGN: Mount the safety sign to the wall near the
unit with appropriate hardware provided by installer (see
Figure 2).
OneStep™ Use
1. Pull the bottle forward as shown in Figure 3.
2. Hold eyes open. Hold the bottle 2 to 4 inches above eyes
and pour (Figure 4).
3. Flush the eye thoroughly by rotating the eye back and forth
to rinse the entire area. Repeat flushing as necessary.
4. Proceed immediately to the nearest eyewash station. ANSI
recommends an additional 15-minute water flush treatment
to prevent further infection.
5. Seek medical attention immediately.
6. Discard the bottle, cap and any unused solution.
7. Install a new OneStep™ eyewash bottle in the station
following the instructions outlined in procedure #2 under
"OneStep™ Installation." For replacement bottles: 16-oz.
bottle, 6-pack (S19-924), 32-oz. bottle, 6-pack (S19-925).
