4. Operating procedures.-
Fuel (Fig. 2-1)
^WARNING!
The Brush culler is equipped with a two-stroke
engine. Always run the engine on (uel, which
is mixed with oil.
Provide good ventilation, when fueling or
handling fuel.
Fuel
• Always use branded 89 octane unleaded
gasoline.
• Use Tanaka two-cycle oil or a quality two-
cycle oil at mixing ratio of 25-50:1 (Gasoline
(A) ; Oil (B)). only lor the stale of California
at 50:1.
• Never use multi-grade oil (10 W/30) or waste
oil.
• Always mix fuel and oil in a separate clean
conlainer.
Always start by filling hall the amount of fuel,
which is to be used.
Then add the whole
amount of oil.
Mix (shake) the (uel mixture.
Add the remaining amount ol iuel.
Mix (shake) the fuel mix thoroughly before
filling the fuel tank.
Fueling
((ISWARNING!
• Always shut off the engine before refueling.
• Slowly open the fuel tank, when tilling up
with (uel. so that possible over pressure
disappears.
• Tighten the fuel cap carefully, after fueling.
• Always move the trimmer at least 3 m (10 ft.)
from the fueling area before starting.
Before fueling, clean the lank cap area care¬
fully, to ensure that no dirt falls into the tank.
Make sure that the (uel is well mixed by
shaking the container, before fueling.

Essence
• Toujours utiliser de I'essence sans plomb
avec un taux d'octane de 89.
• Utiliser de I'huile deux temps Tanaka ou une
autre huile de quality en respectant la
proportion pour le melange deux temps
25-50:1
(Essence (A):Huile (B)), et une
proportion 50:1 pour I'Etat de la Californie
uniquement.
• Ne jamais utiliser d'hulle Muiiigrade (io
W/30) ni d'hulle usagOe.
• Toujours eflecluer le melange dans un
r6cipienl propre.
Toujours commencer par verser la moilte de
I'ossence ^ m6langer.
Verser ensuite la
tolalilO de I'huile.
M6langer en agilant le
recipient. Enfin, verser le reste de I'essence.
M6langer (agiter) soigneusement le melange
avant de faire le plein.

^ATTENTION!
• Ne jamais faire le plein moteur en marche.
• Ouvrir le bouchon de rdservoir lentement,
afin de laisser dchapper la surpression
dventuelle.
• Sorror Io bouchon soigneusement une fois
le plein fait.
