WARNING: Do not use this appliance near
bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
WARNING: When the appliance is used in a bathroom,
unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a
hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above, and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
WARNING: Do not leave the appliance unattended. Do not
allow bare skin or the eyes to come into contact with any
heated surface on the appliance when in use. Do not place
the appliance on any heat-sensitive surfaces when hot
or plugged into the mains. Always unplug the appliance
when not in use.
WARNING: Do not block the air inlet or outlet during use.
When using the appliance, care must be taken to prevent
hair entering the air inlet opening. The air outlet opening of
this appliance will become hot during use, avoid touching
the outlet or any accessories attached to the outlet.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance on synthetic hair or
wigs.
NOTE: Use on towel-dried hair only.
WARNING: Should this product malfunction, do not

attempt to repair it. This appliance has no user-serviceable
parts or components.

Overheating Cut-Off
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that
will cycle OFF should the heat of the dryer exceed
the optimum drying level, due to partially blocked
air inlet or outlet openings. In the event that the
appliance stops or releases only cool air during
use, turn the appliance OFF and allow it to cool
down. Once the appliance cools, the thermostat
will automatically reset and usage may resume.
Damp Hair Settings
Use Cool, Low, Medium or High Air to dry hair.
Dry Hair Settings
Use Hot Air & Heated Plates or Heated Plates only
to style dry hair.
DO NOT use dry hair settings on wet or damp hair.
How To Operate The One-Step™
Air Straight
• Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
• To unlock and turn the appliance on, rotate the
control dial clockwise, to the right.
• To dry and straighten, start with the Low Air
(2.) setting, then adjust to Medium Air (3.) or
High Air (4.), as desired. AIRFLOW WILL NOT
BEGIN UNTIL YOU ACTIVATE IT BY PRESSING THE
HANDLES TOGETHER.
• To finish the look and for an extra shine boost,
adjust setting to Hot Air & Heated Plates (5.)
or Heated Plates (6.) only. ONLY USE DRY HAIR
SETTINGS ON DRY HAIR.
• Lock in the look by using the cold button (1.).
• To turn the appliance off, rotate the control dial
counterclockwise, to the left.
Styling Tips
• Towel or air-dry hair until it's just damp,
then run a comb through to detangle.
• Separate hair into manageable sections.
• With the air vent side on top, squeeze handles
together to clamp hair and slowly activate
airflow.
• Slowly slide appliance to the ends.
Repeat until hair is fully dry.
• Smooth and finish by rotating the control
setting to Hot Air & Heated Plates (5.)
or Heated Plates (6.) ONLY.
ENGLISH
• The heated plates indicator lights will glow
when the plates are ready to use.
• Separate hair into manageable sections.
• Clamp hair firmly, slide the appliance to ends.
Repeat until desired look is achieved.
• Allow hair to cool before combing or brushing.

The appearance of this appliance may differ from

Cleaning
Routine cleaning is highly recommended. Always
unplug the appliance from the mains after use
and allow it to cool before cleaning. To clean, wipe
the appliance with a damp cloth.
Dust and lint can be removed from the air intake
openings with a small brush or vacuum cleaner
with a brush attachment. Make certain the
appliance is completely dry before using. Keep
heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt, styling
sprays and gels.
DO NOT allow moisture or additional debris to
enter the unit while cleaning.
Storage
Always unplug when not in use.
Allow the appliance to cool before storing.
Always store in a dry location. Do not pull or
twist the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the
appliance, as this may cause the cord to wear
prematurely and break. Regularly check the power
cord for wear and damage (particularly where it
enters the appliance and the plug).
