Charging the battery
Charge the battery before first using the device. A new battery, or one stored
for more than two months, reaches its full capacity after 2 or 3 charges and
discharges.
5- Plug the adapter into the mains. The LED turns green.
6- Insert the walkie-talkie or the battery alone into the battery charger.
7- Ensure that the battery is correctly in place and that the charge terminals are
properly connected. The LED indicator flashes red. Charging begins.
8- After around 4 hours, the LED indicator turns green, indicating that charging is
complete.
Caution:
3- Do not recharge the battery if it is already fully charged. This can shorten the
battery life or even damage the battery.
4- If the battery temperature is too high (over 60°C), charging is stopped. Wait for the battery temperature to go down
to start recharging it again.
Inserting and removing the battery
The time between battery charges is around 8 active hours. This value is obtained for a standard cycle of 5% transmission,
5% active reception and 90% standby time.

Caution:
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals or throw the battery into a fire. Never try to remove the battery casing.
