To open the release valve,
turn the handle
anticlockwise.
Carefully turn the entire
jack over, so the old oil can
drain out completely.
To release any
pressurised air that may
be present, rapidly pump
the jack handle for 6-8
strokes.
IMPORTANT: When adding or replacing oil in the jack,
always use a high-quality grade of SAE 5W hydraulic jack
oil. Never use brake fluid, alcohol, glycerine, detergent
motor oil or any dirty oil. The use of improper oil can result
in internal damage to the jack.
Use lubricating oil on all
moving
parts
when
needed, including arm
linkages, front wheels
and rear casters.
Remove the oil fill plug.
Once all the old oil has been completely
drained, turn the jack back over to a level
position, then fill with new oil.
Using SAE 5W hydraulic
jack oil, fill the reservoir
until
it
reaches
bottom of the threads in
the oil fill hole. Then,
replace and tighten the
oil
fill
plug
Prevent dirt and debris
from entering the system
during this process.
