The jack includes a plunger, plunger cavity, hydraulic oil reservoir, cylinder and ram. When the jack
handle is lifted, it draws oil into the plunger cavity, which is then trapped by a closed valve.
When the handle is pushed down, it forces the oil into the cylinder, causing the ram to push out and
raise the saddle.
To prevent overextension, some oil flows back into the reservoir.
When the release valve is open, the oil flows back, retracting the ram and lowering the saddle.
Insert the lower handle
into the handle socket.
Place the vehicle in 'PARK'
(or gear for standard
transmissions) and apply
the emergency brake.
To
secure
the
place blocks against the
wheels that are not being
raised by the jack.
Pump the jack until the saddle is close
to touching the vehicle. Ensure the
saddle is centred and will make firm
contact with the designated lifting point.

The pin on the lower end of the handle
fits into the handle socket slot.
To close the jack
release valve, turn
the handle clockwise.
Centre the jack under the
load, ensuring the saddle
contacts the load firmly and
does not slip. Refer to the
vehicle manufacturer's
manual for approved lifting points.
Pump the jack handle to
lift the vehicle slightly
above the supports.
Slowly turn the handle
anticlockwise to lower the
vehicle onto the supports.
