2 Installation
Notes
Refer to the safety instructions in section 1.
The accessory installation work is based on the general workshop information. Any work which differs from this is
described in detail in this section.
Preparatory work
Print out the error memory.
Remove the seat, disconnect the battery.
Install the seat cover for the backrest and seat cushion with heating elements.
Remove the oddments tray at the bottom left/right of the instrument panel.
Remove the glovebox and the trim below the glovebox.
Remove the fuse strip above the glovebox.
Remove the door sill strips on both sides.
Remove the bottom trim on the steering column.
Remove the centre console trim in the footwell on both sides.
Remove the footwell trim below the instrument panel on both sides.
Remove the A pillar trim in the footwell on both sides.
Fold out folded page (17).

Lay/connect.
Lay to the seat heater switch S53 for the driver's seat
and connect.
Lay to the seat heater switch S54 for the passenger's
seat and connect.
Lay to joint connector X1019 and connect.
Lay to joint connector X218 and connect.
Lay to fuse holder I, A46, X10015, and connect to
chamber 13 fuse slot F50. Insert a 25 A fuse in fuse slot
F50.
Lay to ignition switch S2 and connect to plug casing
X33, chamber 7.
Lay to ignition switch S2 and connect to plug casing
X33, chamber 3.
Lay to ignition switch S2 and connect to plug casing
X33, chamber 10.
Lay to joint connector X173, below the left-hand door
sill strip and connect.
Lay branch A18, socket contact, brown, to joint
connector X490, below the right-hand door sill strip
and connect.
